The appointment
Plan for three hours.
Every eyeliner session starts with a review of your medical history, a shape consultation, topical anesthetic, and before/after photos. Design is mapped on your closed eyes before pigment is placed.
Before your appointment: remove contact lenses, and stop any lash-growth serums at least one month in advance. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners the day of.
Aftercare
How to heal well.
Eyeliner lightens noticeably 7–10 days post-appointment. The color softens to its final shade over 3–4 weeks. Follow-up touch-up happens 4–6 weeks out.
Do
- Apply a thin layer of Vaseline for comfort
- Use distilled water if lashes stick
- Sleep on your back when possible
- Keep the area clean and dry
Don’t
- Touch, scratch, or pick at the area
- Wear eye makeup until fully healed
- Put in contacts for 3 days
- Go swimming, saunas, or sun for ~2 weeks
Maintenance
- 4–6 week follow-up included
- Maintenance every few years
- Color check at your annual PMU visit
